Winnipeg Station
Winnipeg, Manitoba
Specifically designed to refuel up to 20 fuel cell electric buses per day, the Winnipeg Station represents a significant new chapter for Azolla Hydrogen as we work alongside the City of Winnipeg to support its vision for resilient, future-ready municipal transportation. This serves as a flagship project to demonstrate the performance and reliability of Azolla Hydrogen’s refueling infrastructure to meet the demanding needs of municipal transit fleets looking for viable technology solutions to transition away from diesel.
Winnipeg’s role as a major prairie transit, logistics, and distribution hub makes it a natural location for early hydrogen adoption, particularly for municipal and mixed-use fleets that demand dependable, high-availability fuelling. The City’s commitment to practical action in the transition toward lower-emission fleet operations reflects Winnipeg’s willingness to position itself as an early hub for hydrogen innovation in the prairies and contribute to the growing hydrogen ecosystem in Canada and North America.
