Azolla Hydrogen Receives $3 Million in ERA Funding to Expand Hydrogen Refuelling Infrastructure

Azolla Hydrogen has been awarded $3 million in funding from the Government of Alberta, delivered through Emissions Reduction Alberta (ERA), to support the continued expansion of our hydrogen refuelling infrastructure in Alberta.

The funding will support a $12.5 million project to expand on the infrastructure Azolla is already operating, increasing high-pressure refuelling capabilities to serve more commercial vehicles and give fleets greater flexibility as they add hydrogen to their operations.

Growing the hydrogen market takes an ecosystem. We’re building alongside Alberta partners including the City of Edmonton, Edmonton Region Hydrogen Hub and Calgary Region Hydrogen Hub, strengthening the infrastructure and connections needed to support greater hydrogen adoption across the province.

This investment marks another step forward in building a more connected hydrogen network in Alberta — and we have more exciting news coming soon.
